Charles River Run

Running for Cancer

I did a 4-mile loop along the Charles River today after biking from work. It was 24 degrees outside. A couple of snow flake fell when I started running. The hand holding the flag gets cold very quickly since it does not move much. I had to switch hand regularly. Not many people on the street, a couple of runners. But I didn't want to stop them so I took a picture myself.

Rainy Day

I got back from New York City this afternoon. It rained again in Boston today. The road wet very wet. Here is one picture I took.

NYC Day 2

running for cancer

I carried the flag around Manhattan this afternoon. I walked from the Grand Central Station to the Time Square (see picture). Then I walked down Broadway to Houston Street then to Avenue B, where the Lie Society was playing at night. Check out their web site: theliesociety. Aaron, from the Lie Society is going to take over the web design and layout for the site. Aaron is a very talented artiest. You can check out his work at: journalofsadness.com. I am very excited.

New York City - Day One

This is a picture I took with my friends Matt Burnside and Willa Ng at Columbus Circle today. We walked around with the flag for a while and then went to a Mexican restaurant. Many people were curious about the flag. Willa gave some great ideas for the flag. I will keep them secret now and hopefully I get to implement them soon.

5 Miles - Watertown

Running

I ran 5 miles to Watertown MA to have dinner with my mom and to help her move some furniture. I also made some modification to the flag. It was originally two pieces of fabric which were safety pined together. I sewed the two pieces together but left a 12 inch slit so I can still folder the flag when I try to carry it on buses or train. I also made some other modifications for easy carrying.

I am going to New York City to visit a couple friends tomorrow and I plan to take the flag with me. It will be raining though. I will see what happens.
